Children from the Ecole Francaise Arthur Rimbaud in Nicosia paid a visit to the recycling centre to find out about aluminium recycling and see for themselves what happens to the cans they collect. They watched the Cans For Kids’ can sorter and baler in action, while the charity's President and Vice-President, Olga Demetriades and Rosie Charalambous, explained the importance of recyling.

The school's Head, Bruno Lirola, presented Mrs Demetriades with a cheque for £181, proceeds of the school's Christmas bazaar, and promised that the school would continue to support Cans For Kids by collecting cans.
